WATER SOME MELONS
my brother has been into gardenings and plantings these past few days. (we're actually planning on sharing with you guys his little farmville outside our house in the near future..so stay tuned!) i realized that he has the green powers and is a real natural.. that is why i decided to have my own plant as well. (what if i also inherited the green powers, right?) and then i found this present that Kyna gave me for my birthday last year. it sure is a coincidence, isn't it? anyway, what's been bothering my mind right now is that.. i can't wait to eat all the five organic watermelons planted by the one and only me! i bet this would taste 10x better than the bought ones!

here comes the coolest soil ever! where you just have to mix lukewarm water with that circular brownish thing (which we call the soil) and then voila! organic poop slash soil hahaha is complete!
it's time to plant those seeds in now (this gives me the idea of planting some bombs lol)
wrap with the germinating plastic bag and you're finished! yay!
..well, not really super finished yet because you still have to wait patiently for those seeds to sprout, you see. don't forget that it has to be moistened every day, as the instruction says. and nevertheless, talk to your future food. this may sound really dumb, but my mom told me about the help we can give to its molecules and those chem stuff become happier. (scientifically proven)
C R O C H E T
CROCHET 101 : the beginning
and i'm not even kidding. this is a crochet series where i will be teaching you some basic stitches and techniques on crocheting. i was able to make a few wearables that i learned only from
the internet before, therefore, i am confident that crocheting is a skill that can be learned online. by the end of the series, you will be able to have your very own home-made garments to keep
or give. it's both very simple and fun at the same time!
this is how you hold your yarn with your left hand (well, if you are right-handed otherwise it's the opposite)
now make a small knot using your crochet hook
repeat the process and make 16 (depending on how wide you want your scarf to be oops. you got me. yes. we are making a scarf for this
series hahaha) and btw, this is called the chain stitch
looks kind of a mess but it's the beginning of something beautiful. stay tuned to learn more about other crochet stitches, and start working on the body of our scarf!

this moussaka is very much similar to the lasagna. just the eggplant that made it different.
and this, you guys. this is it. no buts, no excuses, no more. salidou crepe is simply perfection.
summer school is starting tomorrow and i am freaking out. well, maybe just a little but still. anyway, i couldn't have been more happier and thankful to my sister for introducing this local cafe shop to me. i mean, who would have noticed this small cafe shop by the corner of new manila with a big giant tree in front of it? maybe you would but i doubt i will. the place is small but gorgeous! and their food..the photographs says it all. thank you, to whoever invented this place and the salidou crepe. i am so going back for that salidou crepe!

B R E A K F A S T
an easy and simple healthy breakfast parfait
fruits taste great in parfaits! strawberries, blueberries, mangoes, and bananas are some of my faves.
they say nuts can make you wiser B-)
reward yourself by topping it off with some chocholate syrruuuu-huuuuup!
i've been making and eating this breakfast parfait for quite a while now. why? well, because it's good, easy, and fast. very often i tend to skip breakfast due to my idea of sleep > eat. but i was wrong. eating breakfast is as important as getting 8-9 hours of sleep every day. after discovering this parfait, i actually get very excited to wake up in the morning to eat breakfast. no need to worry about those calories because this food is healthy. yes, healthy. well except for the chocolate part, i guess, but that's for our reward. so don't hold yourself now.

drumroll please! dendendeeeeeeeen..
it's basically just stacking up all the food in a gorgeous and "partea" way yumm yumm yumm!
so we actually decided to have a mini tea party just the night before all of this happened. this was for the reason of wanting to catch up with some high school sisters that separated ways and went to other univesities. i am so glad that we pushed this idea through because that afternoon was simply amazing. a partea is easy, fast, and tiring yet so much fun, really! you guys should try this!
